Getting Started

The secret to making this basket is turning it a quarter turn with each row woven. That way, you’ll pay attention to the flair of each side. When weaving, the sides of the basket (supported by the handle) will follow the shape of the handle, but you’ll have to watch closely and adjust the tension in the weavers to ensure you make the other two sides flare out at the same angle.
