Getting Started
Thick chenille makes this knit hat and scarf duo incredibly soft and warm, and the novelty yarn trim adds a touch of whimsy. This project will yield quick results and admiring compliments.

A note on the stitches used: The hat is worked on the wrong side then turned inside out to be worn. Carry all colors on the outside of the work.

- Color A, 3 skeins of chenille yarn in periwinkle
- Color B, 2 balls of multi-colored specialty yarn
- Crochet hook size J-10/6mm or size needed to obtain gauge
- Tapestry needle
Gauge
- 8 sts and 4 rows dc = 4"/10cm
- Always take time to check your gauge.
