Instructions
Pattern
- Starting at neck edge, ch 126 (or an even number of sts to desired length) and, without twisting ch, close into a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch.
- Rnd 1: Ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1), skip 1st 2 ch, *dc in next ch, ch 1, skip next ch; rep from * around. Sl st to 3rd ch of turning ch to join (63 ch-1 spaces).
- Rnd 2: Ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1), dc in 1st ch-1 space (inc made), ch 1, (dc, ch 1) in each dc around, sl st to 3rd ch of turning ch to join (64 ch-1 spaces).
- Rnds 3–18: Rep Rnd 2, working one inc in different places in each rnd (80 ch-1 spaces at end of Rnd 18). Fasten off.
Flower
- Ch 6 and close into a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch.
- Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc of beg pop), 4 dc in ring, drop loop from hook, insert hook in top of turning ch, draw dropped loop through st (beg pop made), (Pop, ch 3) 6 times in ring, sl st in 3rd ch of turning ch to join (7 pops).
- Rnd 2: Sl st in 1st ch–3 space, ch 3 (counts as 1st dc of beg pop), beg pop in 1st ch-3 space, ch 3, (pop, ch 3) in each ch-3 space around, sl st in 3rd ch of turning ch to join (7 pops).
- Rnd 3: Sl st to center dc of 1st pop, ch 1, *sc in center dc of pop, ch 3, sc in next ch-3 space, ch 3; rep from * around, sl st in 1st sc to join (14 ch-3 spaces. Fasten off.
Finishing
- With yarn needle and yarn, sew flower to top of capelet as desired. Sew pearl bead to center.
