Getting Started
This project gives you the chance to practice your color-changing and chart-reading skills while making the perfect gift for the daredevils in your family.

To change color, work the last stitch to where there are 2 loops on the hook and yarn over with the new color to complete the stitch (figure 1).

You Will Need
- Approximately 150yd/137m light worsted weight yarn, blue
- Approximately 100yd/92m light worsted weight yarn, yellow
- Hook, 4mm/G-6 or size needed to obtain gauge
- Stitch markers
Gauge
- 17 hdc and 14 rows hdc = 4"/10cm
- Always take time to check your gauge.

- Chain (ch)
- Double crochet (dc)
- Half double crochet (hdc)
- Single crochet (sc)
- Slip stitch (sl st)
- Half double crochet decrease (hdc2tog)

- 1 hank of Classic Elite’s Provence, 100% mercerized Egyptian cotton, 3-1/2 oz/100g = 205yd/188m, in color #2657, De Nimes Blue
- 1 hank of Classic Elite’s Provence, 100% mercerized Egyptian cotton, 3-1/2 oz/100g = 205yd/188m, in color #2633, Sundrenched Yellow
Size
- This mask will fit most adult heads.
