Getting Started
To change colors, work the last sc of the first color until two loops remain on the hook. Yarn over with the second color, draw the yarn through two loops on the hook, drop the first color and carry loosely across to be picked up later. Work over the first color with the second color. Fasten off the colors when no longer needed in the next round.

- Hook, 5mm/H-8 or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge
- Take time to check your gauge.
- First 4 rnds = 2-1⁄2"
- 6 sts and 6 rnds = 2" in sc

Pattern Notes
- This hat is worked from the top down in spiraling rounds. Don’t join rounds unless otherwise stated. Use a stitch marker to indicate first stitch in round, and then move it up at the beginning of each round.
Stitches Used
- Chain (ch)
- Single crochet (sc)
- Sc2tog (single crochet decrease): Insert hook in next st and draw up a loop, insert hook in next st and draw up a loop, yo, draw through all loops on hook.
