Foliage houseplants are grown for their ornamental leaves and are prized for their longevity. Though specific needs vary, in general these plants require medium light, warm temperatures, and moderate to high humidity.

- Water: Constant moisture.
- Feed: Every few weeks in the summer growing period with a complete fertilizer.
