Instructions
Stitching the Bracelet
- Cut 5' (1.5 m) of thread and pass it through the needle, leaving a 12" (30.5 cm) tail. String on 16 seed beads (beads 1-16). Use the tail and working thread to tie a square knot, forming a tight circle. Working in a clockwise direction, pass through all the beads again, exiting from bead 1 (figure 4).

- String on one 6mm pearl, and pass back through bead 9 so your needle goes in a counterclockwise direction. This seats the pearl in the center of the circle of beads (figure 5).

- String on 15 seed beads, and pass through the bead you just exited. String on one 6mm pearl and pass back through the eighth seed bead just strung.
- Repeat step 3 until you’ve made 21 daisy chains or reach your desired bracelet length (figure 6).

- Once you’ve added the last pearl, keep your needle moving in the same direction and weave through five more seed beads. Check to make sure there are no twists in your bracelet and that all the 6mm pearls are on the same side of the bracelet.
- String on one seed bead, one 4mm pearl, and one seed bead. Pass through the third seed bead from the bead that connects the two daisies. Continue through the fourth and fifth seed beads. Repeat this step down the length of the bracelet (figure 7). When you come to the last daisy, weave through the seed beads to exit from the other side of the bracelet and repeat this step down the other side.

Adding the Clasp
- Exit from one of the pairs of seed beads at the very end of the bracelet. String on two seed beads and pass through the two seed beads at the end of the bracelet. Pass through the two seed beads just added once more. Continue working a two-bead-high ladder stitch for four stitches (figure 8).

- String on 14 seed beads and pass through the last ladder stitch again to make a loop. Weave through the beads and exit from the third bead added in this step.
- String on one 6mm pearl and pass through the seed bead directly opposite the one you last exited to seat the pearl. Note: Check to be sure this pearl sits on the same side of the bracelet as the other 6mm pearls. Continue weaving through the loop’s seed beads, exiting at the same point you added the 6mm pearl in this step. Pass through the pearl again.
- String on one 4mm pearl and one seed bead. Pass back through the pearl to make a fringe leg. Pass back through the 6mm pearl. Repeat this step to create another fringe leg at the other side of the 6mm pearl. Exit from the first 4mm pearl placed with the needle pointing toward the 6mm pearl (figure 9 ).

- Weave through the seed beads of the loop until you reach the opposite 4mm pearl. Pass through it, the fringe leg’s end seed bead, and back through the pearl. Pass through the rest of the loop’s seed beads (figure 10). Repeat the thread path once to secure the fringe legs to the loop, finishing the toggle bar.

- Pass through all the beads that make up the toggle bar several times to reinforce. Weave through the ladder-stitched beads to reinforce. Secure the thread in the body of the bracelet and trim.
- Thread the needle with the tail thread. Repeat step 8, this time making three two-bead-high ladder stitches.
- String on 18 seed beads and pass through the last ladder stitch again to make a loop. Pass through all these beads again to reinforce the loop. Weave through the ladder-stitched beads to reinforce. Secure the thread in the body of the bracelet and trim.
