Getting Started

This design involves using a jig to create intricate wire links and creating focal points of interest by spacing handmade beads between the wire links.

You can also create a completely different look (from the same set of instructions) by using a thinner gauge of wire and glass beads in place of the colored wire and faux marble combination featured here.

You Will Need

  • 8 beads, 8mm
  • 6 heart-shaped beads, 6 to 8mm in width
  • 22-gauge colored wire, 16-1⁄4" (41 cm) long
  • 14-gauge colored wire, 7’ (2.1 m) long
  • Clasp findings
  • Wire cutters
  • Round-nose pliers
  • Jig

Finished Length

  • Approximately 16" (40.3 cm)
