Instructions
- Cut one 1" (2.5 cm), one 1-1⁄2" (3.8 cm), and two 5-1⁄2" (14 cm) pieces of chain. Set aside.
- Make a tiny simple loop on one end of the sterling silver wire. Use the wire to string one flower through the bottom two holes, two rose 4mm beads, an end link on the 1" (2.5 cm) piece of chain, one flower through the bottom two holes, an end link on the 1-1⁄2" (3.8 cm)piece of chain, two rose 4mm beads, and one flower through the bottom two holes. Work with the natural curve of the wire and use your thumbs as support as you bend the two ends of the wire upward to make an inverted arch. Cut the wire about 3⁄16" (5 mm) from the last bead strung.
- Make a normal-size simple loop at one end of the remaining sterling silver wire. Pass through the top two holes of the first flower strung in the previous step. String one rose 4mm bead. Pass through the top two holes of the second flower strung in the previous step. Pass through the top two holes of the third flower strung in the previous step.
- Use your fingers to adjust the degree of
arch in the piece. Once you are satisfied, finish the top wire with a simple loop and the bottom wire with a tiny loop (figure 1). Set this focal piece aside.

- Use one eye pin to string one peridot 6mm bead, one rose 4mm bead, and one peridot 6mm bead. Make a simple loop to secure the beads in place. Repeat to make a second three-bead link and set aside.

- Open the loop on one end of a three-bead link and connect it to an end link of one of the 5-1⁄2" (14 cm) pieces of chain. Close the loop. Open the loop on the other side of the same three-bead link and connect it to the top loop at one end of the focal piece. Repeat to add a link and chain to the other side of the focal piece.
- Use a jump ring to connect one half of the clasp to the end of one of the 5-1⁄2" (14 cm) pieces of chain. Repeat for the opposite chain and clasp end.
- Use one head pin to string one heart bead. Carefully manipulate the pin so it bends up and over the top of the heart, right at the V. Grasp the wire with chain-nose pliers and make a 90° bend just above the heart. String one rose 4 mm bead and secure the beads with a simple loop. To make the heart hang face forward, position the loop so it’s perpendicular to the front of the heart (figure 2). Repeat to make two more heart dangles.

- Open the loop on one of the heart dangles and connect it to the jump ring next to the clasp. Attach the remaining two hearts to the ends of the chains hanging from the focal piece.
