Instructions
- Under a good light, which will better enable you to see the color combinations, arrange the beads on a black velvet pad or soft, dark surface. Try to break up the pattern here and there.
- Since this bracelet uses a toggle clasp, plan to string smaller beads with flat ends next to the toggle. If you use larger round beads, you may have a hard time inserting the toggle bar into the ring.
- Once you have established the stringing pattern, begin by threading on a crimp bead, and positioning it approximately 1" (2.5 cm) from the end.
- Loop the wire through one side of the toggle and back through the crimp. Use the flat-nose pliers to crush the crimp. As you thread the first bead, make sure it hides the end of the wire.
- Continue threading beads, placing one of the small black rondelles between each of the larger beads, until the bracelet is the length you want.
- End with a crimp bead, loop the wire through the other side of the toggle, and pass the thread back through the crimp and a few of the beads.
- Use the flat-nose pliers to pull the wire tail tight to avoid leaving any slack before crushing the crimp. Use the wire cutters to trim any excess wire.
