Because this pin has a separate pin stem, you can create variations to match your wardrobe. With the technique described in step 11, you can use a range of bead shapes and colors. Try designing your own pin stem with a spiral finial. And remember you aren’t limited to silver wire—explore different types and colors of wire as well!

- 22-gauge half-hard sterling silver wire, 72" (182 cm)
- 26-gauge half-hard sterling silver wire, 12" (30.5 cm)
- 18-gauge nickel silver wire, 8" (20.3 cm)
- Glass bead to fit 18-gauge wire, at least 1 cm in diameter
- Stick pin end cap
