Instructions
Making the Flower Center
- To make the flower’s center cluster, measure and cut a 12" (30.5 cm) length of wire. String on one 1⁄8" (3 mm) pearl and slide it to the center of the wire. Twist the wire ends together right up against the bead to set it in place.
- String on one 1⁄4" (6 mm) pearl and make another twist.
- String on three seed beads, and make a twist to create a small cluster.
- Continue stringing and twisting beads until you’ve added all of the seed beads and glass pearls. Add the beads randomly as you go, and occasionally twist two or three of the twisted beads together.
- To finish, weave the wire between the beads to create a web, twist the wires behind the beads, and trim any excess wire. Set aside.
Adding the Leaf Pendants
- Cut a 6" (15.2 cm) length of wire and string on one leaf pendant, leaving a 2" (5.1 cm) tail. Twist the wire to set the pendant in place.
- String on another leaf pendant in the same direction as the first one. Twist the wire so that when this pendant is secured, both lay flat, side-by-side.
- Continue stringing until you have added all four leaf pendants.
- Twist the wire ends together so you make a circle (see figure 2). Trim and tuck the wire twist. Set the circle aside.

Connecting the Oval Pendants
- Cut an 8" (20.3 cm) length of wire. Repeat steps 6 through 9 to connect the five oval pendants in the same way as the leaf pendants. Trim and tuck the wire twist. Set the circle aside.
Putting It All Together
- Cut an 8" (20.3 cm) length of wire and string on all of the 5⁄16" (8 mm) pearls. Twist the wire ends together to secure, but don’t trim. Set the ring aside.
- Layer the oval pendant circle, the leaf pendant circle, and the center cluster to make a flower. Cut a 6" (15.2 cm) length of wire and, leaving a 1" (2.5 cm) tail, weave up through the back of the flower.
- Weave down through the front of the flower (see figure 3) Be careful to hide the wire between beads so it doesn’t show from the front. Twist the wires together at the back of the flower to secure, but don’t trim.

- Connect the flower to the ring by twisting their open wires tightly and securely together. Trim and tuck the wire twist.
