Getting Started

This elegant choker is created using only simple half knots. Tie more knots for a longer necklace or fewer for a shorter one.

Materials

  • 1 focal bead, 1 to 1-1⁄2" (2.5 to 3.8 cm) long
  • 2 silver 5⁄8" (1.6 cm) silver cones
  • 6 silver 3mm round beads
  • 2 sterling silver 2mm crimp tubes
  • Sterling silver toggle clasp
  • 22 feet (6.7m) of white 1mm synthetic, linen, or silk cord

Tools

  • Scissors
  • T-pins
  • Knotting board
  • Crimping pliers

Finished Length

  • 16" (40.6 cm)
