Getting Started
This skirted helmet prepares you to battle even the iciest of storms in style. If you’re a sports fan, make the stripes in colors to honor your favorite team. This hat is knit in the round using three double-pointed knitting needles.

You Will Need
- Color A: Approx 100(105)yd/91(96)m chunky weight yarn
- Color B: Approx 10yd/9m chunky weight yarn
- Color C: Approx 10yd/9m chunky weight yarn
- Color D: Approx 15yd/14m chunky weight yarn
- 5.75mm (size 10 U.S.) dpn and 16"/41cm and 24"/61cm cn or size to obtain gauge
- Stitch marker
- 3 double-pointed nitting needles (dpn)
- Darning needle
Gauge
- 14 sts = 4"/10 cm
- Always check gauge

The hat featured on the model was knit with JCA Reynolds’ Lopi, 100% wool, 3-1/2oz/100g = 110yd/100m
