Getting Started
To enhance this particular variegated yarn, an open mesh design was used to give the shawl body and shape. Because the staggered, openwork stitch orients the knitted fabric in one direction and then is reversed midway to slant the other way, special shaping isn’t needed. The shawl naturally knits up into a perfect V shape.
