Getting Started
Cupcake baking cups make a wonderful craft material. Tuck a few inside each other, wire them together, and dust the edges with decorating chalks to fabricate delicate ruffled carnations.

- Craft wire, 22-gauge
- Decorating chalks in various shades of green
- Green construction paper
- Decoupage medium
- Cardstock
- Pattern for leaves and calyx
- Brown colored pencil
- 3 yards (2.75 m), 1/4" (6 mm) wide
- Barrette

- Decorative-edge scissors
- Large safety pin
- Wedge-shaped makeup sponge
- Bleach
- Old toothbrush
- Scissors
- Clay-sculpting tool with bulbous end
- Hot glue and glue gun
