Cooked green peas are a good source of folic acid, potassium, thiamine, and magnesium. They also contain vitamin C, zinc, vitamin B6, niacin, iron, and phosphorus. Dried peas have certain amino acid deficiencies but are an excellent source of potassium and folacin, a good source of thiamine, and contain magnesium, zinc, iron, copper, phosphorus, and pantothenic acid.
