Side Effects
Most side effects of rivastigmine involve the stomach and intestines. If any side effects of this drug become persistent or severe, ask your health-care practitioner whether it is safe for you to continue taking it.
- Common: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, appetite loss, weight loss, headache, fatigue, dizziness, trouble sleeping, depression, confusion, hallucinations
- Less Common or Rare: high blood pressure, fainting, overall feeling of unwellness, increased sweating, runny nose, belching, difficulty urinating, aggression, convulsions
