If you want, you can choose a different theme for your pins—ladybugs, animals, or stars and moons—and follow the Bee Pins instructions to customize pins to your
every whim.

Materials
- Beehive pattern (found at the end of the instructions)
- 8" x 10" (20.3 cm x 25.4 cm) wool felt, gold
- Wool felt scrap, dark brown
- Embroidery floss, gold, bright gold, and dark brown
- Polyester fiberfill
- Rice, lentils, or sand, and a small funnel
- Scrap paper for pattern
- Pencil with an eraser
- Clear shrink plastic
- Bee paper punch (sold at craft supply stores)
Tools & Supplies
- Sewing scissors
- Measuring tape
- Hand-sewing needles and thread
- Large-eyed embroidery needle
- Straight pins
- High-quality colored pencils, yellow, white, black
- Thick rag or hot pad
- Fine-grain sandpaper
- Baking sheet
- Oven
