Getting Started
When selecting the fabric for this project, look for interesting patterns or motifs, and use them to your advantage by echoing the design with your embellishments. For example, in the featured pillow, the round medallions made of ribbon mirror the circles of the fabric’s printed design.

Materials for the Big Loopy Bolster
- Approximately 5/8 yard (57.2 cm) of print fabric
- 20" (50.8 cm) invisible zipper
- Various trims, such as vintage rayon seam binding, organza ribbon, and velvet ribbon
- 7" x 18" (17.8 x 45.7 cm) pillow form
Materials for the Striped Bolster
- Approximately 1/2 yard (45.7 cm) of print fabric
- 14" (35.6 cm) invisible zipper
- Various trims, such as vintage rayon seam binding, organza ribbon, and velvet ribbon
- 5" x 16" (12.7 x 40.6 cm) pillow form
