- 1/2 yard (45.7 cm) small-print fabric
- 5 to 7 charm squares in coordinating prints
- Matching thread
- Large button and small button in your choice of colors
- 1⁄2 yard (45.7 cm) fleece for interlining

- Access to a photocopier that makes enlargements
- Loop turner
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Measuring tools (such as measuring tape, ruler, etc.)
