- 1⁄2 yard (45.7 cm) or scrap of all-cotton quilt batting
- 1⁄2 yard (45.7 cm) of heavyweight interfacing
- 7 different fabric strips, 2" to 2-1⁄2" × 20" (5.1 to 6.4 × 50.8 cm)
- All-purpose thread
- 1-3⁄4" × 32" (4.5 x 81.8) bias strip, cotton
- 1 yard (91.4 cm) of 5⁄32" (0.4 cm) cord for piping
- 3⁄4 yard (68.6 cm) of cotton ticking
- 9" (22.9 cm) zipper
- Snap
Tools & Supplies
- Access to a photocopier that makes enlargements
- Cord foot or zipper foot
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Scrap paper (for patterns)
- Snap setter
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Measuring tools (such as measuring tape, ruler, etc.)
- Marking tools (such as pencil, chalk fabric marker, water-soluble fabric marker, etc.)
- Seam ripper
- Pins
- Needles for hand sewing
- Thread
- Iron and ironing board
