Getting Started
In order to make a cover for your laptop, you’ll need to measure it first. Below are measurements used for the featured laptop cover. The instructions will refer back to these dimensions as an example. Compare your measurements as you go along to make sure your proportions are working out properly (based on the size of your laptop). If your laptop is the same size, simply use these measurements and instructions as your guide.
- Laptop: L x W x D = 14" x 10-1⁄2" x 1-3⁄4" (35.6 x 26.7 x 4.4 cm)
- Finished cover: L x W = 14-1⁄2" x 11" (36.8 x 27.9 cm)
- Pre-sewn cover: L x W = 15-1⁄2" x 12" (38.1 x 30.5 cm)
