- 1⁄4 yard (22.9 cm) or a fat quarter each of 4 fabrics (2 shades of pink and 2 of yellow)
- 1⁄4 yard (22.9 cm) white cotton
- White thread
- Remnant green fabric
- 1⁄8 yard (11.4 cm) paper-backed fusible web
- Pink and yellow embroidery floss
- 2 yards (1.8 m) of cord for piping
- 1⁄4 yard (22.9 cm) insulated batting
Tools & Supplies
- Access to a photo copier that makes enlargements
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Measuring tape and ruler
- Sharp sewing scissors (for fabric)
- Sharp fine-tipped scissors (for detailed work)
- Craft scissors (for paper)
- Fabric-marking pen or pencil and tailor’s chalk
- Straight pins
- Embroidery needle
- Hand-sewing needles
- Scrap paper (for patterns)
- Sewing machine
- Seam ripper
- Iron and ironing board
