- Wipe away any powdery residue with a dry paper towel.
- Use a dry white towel to apply liquid detergent directly to the stain.
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
- If the stain remains, apply a mixture of 1 part ammonia-based cleaner and 4 parts water directly to the stain.
- Wait a few minutes and then rinse with cool water.
- If the stain persists, apply a pre-laundry stain stick and launder as normal.
- For dried-in stains, repeat from step 4 above but substitute white vinegar for ammonia-based cleaner.
