Lipstick Stains
- Prepare a solution of 1 part ammonia and 2 parts water.
- Apply the solution to a white towel and blot gently.
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
- If the stain persists, try applying rubbing alcohol directly to the stain with a white paper towel.
- If the stain still persists, apply a combination solvent, such as Shout® or Spray ’n Wash®.
- Wait at least five minutes. If the stain remains, take the garment to a dry cleaner’s. If it is gone, launder as you normally would.
