Shoulder Stretches
Shoulder Stretch 1
- Begin in a standing position, looking straight ahead.
- Place your left arm straight across your chest, palm facing in.
- Raise your right hand and place it just behind your left elbow. Using your right hand, press your left arm toward your chest. You should feel the stretch in the outer shoulder of your left arm. Hold the stretch.


- Release and repeat on the other side.
Shoulder Stretch 2
- Begin in a standing position.
- Place your arms behind your back.
- Interlace your fingers and keep your palms facing up, or grasp a stretching strap with your hands roughly one foot apart.


- Lift your hands gently up away from your hips until you feel your shoulders stretching. Keep your shoulders rolled back, chest up high, and belly button tucked inward.

- Release. Shake out your hands to release any lingering tension in them.
