About This Drug
Testosterone is used to replace natural testosterone in males who have impotence or a delayed onset of puberty due to hormone deficiency. Testosterone is the principal male hormone, or androgen, produced by the body. It is needed for the normal growth and development of male sex organs. Testosterone may also be used to treat metastatic cancer (cancer that has spread) in women.
