How to Vacuum Walls and Ceilings
Dust, dirt, and cobwebs build up over time on walls and ceilings, especially if your ceilings are textured, your walls are exposed brick, or your walls are covered with fabric or embossed wallpaper. The method is the same for canisters and uprights with hoses.
- To vacuum ceilings: Use the dust brush tool and set the suction to high. If you have trouble reaching ceilings with the hose of your upright or canister, see if your vacuum comes with extension tubes that attach to the end of the hose to make it longer.
- To vacuum walls: Use the dust brush tool and set the suction to high. Proceed from the top of the wall to the bottom to catch dust as it falls.
How Often Should You Vacuum Walls and Ceilings?
Vacuum your walls and ceilings about once a month, but more often if your ceilings are textured, your walls are
exposed brick, or your walls are covered with fabric wallpaper or embossed wallpaper.
